The Ms condition crime lab is trying to figure out what to do with the system of Adam Maye's, the man who allegedly killed a mom and daughter and kidnapped the woman's two other daughters before shooting himself.
The lab has had Maye's' system since mid-May, and doesn't know what to do with it. Maye's' household won't take his system. If no one takes the system after six months, it has to be returned to Nation Nation, where he died.
According to Ms condition law, if there are any living relatives, it is the family's responsibility to take care of the system. But Mayes' wife and mom are behind bars, accused of conspiracy in the two killings and kidnappings, according to WM C-TV. Maye's' brother refuses to take the system.
"We've had some unusual cases but none like this where the household won't even take the remains," said Mark Golding, the Nation Nation M.E., according to WM C-TV.
